These reviews are based on the bls by South Korea, as you guys know, their bls tend to be shorter, therefore I did not see any need to write one post separately for every bl. Today I will be reviewing Behind Cut, Semantic Error, Kissable lips, and First love again.
Behind Cut.

So, behind cut... Well, it started out pretty nice, you know, the kind of nice where you go "Awww" and "Oh my so cute" and that´s all. The story drags a lot, mostly the acting and pacing. At first, I was liking the dynamic and the duo, but it quickly faded away because the acting was so... dragging. And I have to say, both are very talented, I think it is because of the story, it wasn´t as well written as it should have. The story tried to tell something not too deep, but it did end up being too deep for the runtime. I will keep complaining over the lack of better-written stories or the lack of stories that fit the runtime. I did like some of the things, the wardrobe was amazing. That´s pretty much all i can say, the actors are good to some extent and just-
Anyway, there´s a lot missing, a lot of key elements, and just the overall story felt flat.
Verdict: Behind cut should have been sent to the shelves and waited until somebody would make a better cut. South Korea bls really need to step up, because now it is all dragging, I am so sorry babe. If you are going to give us a story that needs 30 minutes per episode... CUT IT OUT. EDITED OUT. because giving us a must-be-30.minutes in 15 is not it.
My rating: 4 "Brain cells stopped working" because they did try to some extent, but it was not it babes.
Semantic Error

Okay okay, give me a minute babes, give a MINUTE!. This was like milk against the burning sensation "behind cut" left on me. So, I started this series because it was trending on Twitter. Which is a sign that people ARE tuning. So, why wouldn´t I?? And!?!?! hello?!?!?!, there are some weak points though, and I have not read the novel but!. The good parts, it is a really good series overall. The main characters or actors have chemistry and the story is simple FOR A SHOW THAT RANGED FROM 15 MINUTES TO 30 MINUTES!?!?!??! Like did y´all see that?
The actors elevate the story, it feels just the way it is, unique. What is this robotic theme? well, I don't know, but it was nice. It wasn´t rushed or too slow, it was just balanced. Even the supporting characters don't take more time than they should. Production-wise, it is the same as every other Korean bl, honestly, when it comes to cinematography and all, SK will come through. My only complaint is, the development over why Sangwoo is the way he is? not that he is an asshole, but I kept thinking he was like this because he went on his military service, am I wrong? let me know!, but, I wanted to see more of his side as in "hey look, I am sorry I treat you like this but this is because blah blah blah", I mean it is not essential, I just wished I saw this. Anyway! The kiss scenes, wow, come through "To my Star" impact. I like the way the characters are written (other than what I already mentioned)Sangwoo really surprises you, I love that guy.
Anyway: There was no error in the production of this series!
My rating: 9. Really great, enters the list of best SK bls.
Kissable lips.

Alright, as I said in my last post, or somewhere else, I don't remember, I won't judge on bls as harsh as before. But, I don't really have a lot of positive things to say. This story feels like somebody took one day to write, and it didn't even try to explain certain things and the actors were thrown in the set without any... training? I can't stress this enough, Stop giving must-be-30 minutes... 8 minutes. This series is underdeveloped because of this timeframe. There is no real explanation, the plot makes no sense whatsoever and the acting is weak, very weak. The actors have zero chemistry and I don't blame them, the script doesn't help them in any way. Even the cinematography surprises me, it is not as high level as, well, you guys know how beautiful it is to look at south Korean dramas. I don't have anything else to add to this review because the story was just too short so, why would I even try lol.
My rating: 3.5. There's no way the production company thought "this would the one YAASS"
First love, again.

Okay, wait so, wait so... that first episode! I am not a fan of the reincarnation plot but this bl is a really good addition to the Korean slate. This bl is heartlight comedy that hits every sweet spot. The main actors are fine, mostly Jin Gun and Song Han, they are really good in this series, even the supporting actors are good. The series did not follow the same path as the other bls that are short, and this is because of the storyline. They are already in love, so now they all need to do is to fall back in love (lol), unlike the other bls, who are people who do not know each other at all and need development (which lacks), this bl had 20-30 minutes to develop a decent enough series, which is what it did. Although at times I felt like it needed a little more, such as episode 4, everything happened so quickly, it felt rushed. The leads had chemistry, the cinematography was good enough as well as the script -until episode 4- . I liked the flashback scenes, they were not overwhelming just the right amount.
This bl is a good addition, like I said, to the Korean bl slate, it is not ground-breaking, but it did give us something unique and different, and at least, better developed -the fact that this is the standard for Korean bls, just wow! GIVE US SOMETHING WELL DEVELOPED GODDMIT-. Now at the end, the last 2 episodes, it really felt dragging? you know, like I struggled to finish watching the last episode. I don't think it is a bad series, it just started out good and it went downhill. and it makes me feel sad because I was liking it so much. Now I have said many times that the end of a series doesn't change my overall feeling. So, for this one, I could skip the last episode or so.
Overall: 7.5 average bl, could have done more. Yes, I loved the first 3 episodes but fell afterward it fell under the same mold.
Loved Semantic Error. Wow. Short and to the point. Those two leads were IT! And, I loved the side characters too. Would love to see more of those two in another series.
