(My) 10 Top bls of all time (Updated)

As noted, this is MY TOP, don't drag me in the comments saying that I have no taste. First thing first, I haven't watched every single bl out there, second, I may have seen it but didn't like it. Period. This is an updated version since I started watching other bls last year and after rewatching some others.

10.Manner of Death [New Entry]

Replaces: Together with me: The Next Chapter [OUT]

Manner of Death is everything that I wanted a mature series to be about. It is not just a Bl, but also a drama, crime series. Tul and Max elevated the story with their OVER THE TOP chemistry (that is a compliment) and I just loved it. The side characters were well-written and the story itself is good. Some things that could have been better, but overall, the plot was good. Not good in the sense of you know, because wao! that was a fcked up situation, honestly, I was every week at the edge of my seat. Why replaces TWM? Well, because it had to. Max and Tul have come a long way and I feel like this is their most daring and risky series, and they excelled, the writers and the actors.

9.A Tale of Thousand Stars [New Entry]

replaces: To my Star [OUT]

ATOTS is a really good series. I love how it took us out of the classroom and into a very different setting. I am not gonna lie, there are some weak points in the series and I am not a fan of the "I have somebody else's feelings" you know? But honestly, this series was really good. Mix and Earth were great together and I cannot wait until we get the other series starring the both of them. Why replaces To my star? Well, In comparison with everything else, TMS is weaker (not bad, now just that I rewatched it and I love it, but ATOTS, I love it more).

8.Like in the Movies [-1] [Highest Peak 6]

replaces: Together with Me [OUT]

I was debating on whether to replace 'Like in the Movies' with 'Hello stranger', however, after rewatching both series, I decided to keep LITM. For two reasons, LITM has more development because is longer, and because I love how they are breaking some ground. So, just know that 'Hello Stranger should also be here (lol) in case y'all want to watch it! anyway, love this series. It is really mature and well-acted (yes, I am talking about both series loool). Why replace TWM? Well, I can't have Max and Tul take over my whole list, also, a watch some parts of TWM and it has a lot of weak points so, OUT.

7. Dark Blue Kiss [-1] *83 Weeks at #1*

Dark Blue Kiss, my first number one BL. This series, I would never get tired of, it is just so good. P'Aof, it is his grace, y'all know that. New and Tay are so good together, they have a lot of chemistry, and although they have a toxic relationship, I should say, it shows growth. I mean, they are both young and there are a lot of relationships like this, but at the end of the day fighting for your love is what should count. Honestly, I really love this. It deals with coming out to your parents, friends, and jealousy. So check it out. I am so sad every time I have to put DBK one down ugh!. Also, GMMTV girl, when are we getting a new TayNew BL?

6.Light on Me [New Entry]

replaces: Where Your Eyes Linger [OUT]

Okay, Okay! I know, what? I know a lot of people don't really like 'Light on Me' because it is slower and not the typical bl. But it is all about difference like this story is cute, I really liked it. The leads have a lot of chemistry and it is just, weird. Lol, I like it, I don't know, and I can say what things about it I don't like. One of those things is the coming out thing. I honestly did not like it, in the sense of how the homophobic "friends", like I don't like how it was handled. But, I don't know, I like the series. I am a people pleaser so...

5. 2gether [-1} *38 weeks at #4/ Highest peak #3*

Ugh, 2gether. I love this BL for many reasons and is going down for many others. I like the chemistry, the music, the acting, and the cinematography? man, that sht is brighter than my future, amazing. I don't like some parts of it, now that I have seen many many other bls. I did not have any problem with the 'high five', however, after some time, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Do you know? because there is trust and everything in between in a relationship, but also, there's intimacy, which is what this bl lacks at times.

4.History 3:Trapped [-1] *38 weeks at #3 /Highest peak #2*

If life keeps going the way it is going, 'Trapped' would never leave my top 5. Not one Taiwanese bl that has come close to what this series is. It is a comedy, a crime, and just a romantic bl series. Great chemistry, and writing. So, in case you haven't, you should check this bl.

3. Cherry Magic [-2] *58 Weeks at #1*

Oh MAN! 'Cherry Magic' is on my top 3, it is at 1 but listen y'all, Cherry magic supremacy. Consider my Top 3, my Top 1. As in, the three of these bls are my number 1, but for the sake of the numbers, let's say is number 3. 'Cherry Magic' would always remain at the top, it is just beautiful, and the chemistry is just top-notch. A movie is coming so let's see how it goes.

2.Lovely Writer [=] *38 weeks at position*

I never thought I would have to defend LW so much, I thought we were all on the same page. This series has its downs, but the ups are higher. I love the chemistry, the writing, and everything in between. This is the only series that I have rewatched at least 4 times, so that tells you a lot. I just think it is one of the best, I really hope that after this bl, writers and companies start thinking about what they put out.

1. Bad Buddy [New Entry] Highest Debut

Okay, OKAY! I know, you guys are probably tired of me writing about BB, but... This series, I won't say much because I have written a lot about it so. But, this series is my top, top, top for now. The chemistry, the writing, the healthy relationship, the comedic aspects of it, the intimacy, the cinematography, man, this is the sht. The standard, and now, I don't mean every series should be the same but take notes guys!. Companies should be able to realize that they can make a series with a toxic relationship and still make it work (DBK for example) or one that has comedic aspects and still works as a romantic series (BB/LW for example), but not unbalanced. After this series, we know that they can be a balance in bls, so please, do it. Anyways, OHMNANON SUPREMACY!!

What is your top bls of all time? I mean, mine changes a lot when a new year comes. Right now I am waiting with a lot of enthusiasm, series such as 'ViceVersa', 'KinnPorsche', 'Star and Sky', and 'Cherry Magic: The Movie', while I am currently watching 'Behind Cut' (no review because is really short), 'Paint with Love' (review coming in a couple of weeks) and 'Enchante' (I hope it keeps the momentum because I am liking it). Thinking about starting 'Not Me', 'ITSAY', 'GEN Y' (There was no need for a second season but ok). Let me know if you guys want a post for this series. I am going to catch up with 'NM'.
