Hello everybody! Happy Halloween... I have been off for some time now and for the best, I have not finished watching any BL or even films. I took October to watch horror films (my favorite genre), take care of my mental health, and finish this degree. I also got my Snapchat and Twitter accounts suspended, for what exactly? IDK. But today I am writing, as I am eating a bag of ruffles which I shouldn't because of cheese, to address... on my life? Nope. To talk about horror movies? Nope. To call out people for their actions and how they need to mind their businesses? Yeap.

You guys might know that Kit Connor, the 18-year-old kid who plays Nick Nelson on Heartstopper, was practically forced to come out as bisexual person this past weekend. Now, I am not into celebrity gossip as I used to be, something I have had to clarify a couple of times here. I do not go into actors' personal lives. outside of the show? I do not care what you do, what you did and how did you get in bed with (as long as it is legal) I do not care about any of it. However, I do start caring when I see that whatever the situation is, it is affecting more people and is turning into a huge problem.

For example, if an actor is accused of assulting somebody else, be it sexually or physically, then I will voice my opinion, but if they both fighting over some biscuits, girl you best believe I do not give a. Anyway, going back to the point.

Kit Connor was forced to come out as bisexual person after being accused of queerbaiting. Which to me is funny because you guys are all in for the fan service. Why did you guys accuse him of queerbaiting? Queerbaiting is just for fiction, FOR FICTION, STOP. Y'all just wanted to confirm he likes boys and can sexualize him at a greater scale now. But my biggest question here is...

WHY DO YOU CARE?

I always talk about how angry I am of having straight actors playing gay characters, but I do not go beyond that. Acting is acting, a portrayal, a depiction. Of course, I would rather have a member of the LGBTQ+ community playing a member of said community, but I do not go out there harassing people, that is not it. But it is worse than that, an 18-year-old is still trying to figure themselves out, like a lot of y’all missed the point of Heartstopper. I feel so bad for this kid, like so bad.

Also, why is it that bisexuals are only expected to date men and casually kiss women every now and then...? I have seen this happen a couple of times, people expect bisexuals to be more into men to fulfill their fantasies, otherwise, if you are bi and date a woman/man then you are queerbaiting. Mmmm chile the inclusion is showing Luv. Bisexuals are allowed to fuck men and women. Allowed to DATE BOTH. So stop. You can get none.

Funny how all of this happened in just a month. Barcode posted a picture of himself drinking from a glass of wine. It was not wine, but he had to clarify it after everybody was harassing him over it. Why do you care?!?!?!? My man is eighteen, like Jesus Christ! y'all not letting these kids breathe. Then y'all sexualize him with Jeff, like hardcore shit. And nobody is complaining. Stop trying to control everyone's life. I get the point that you might worry that he would go on and start drinking and then drugs and then... then what? worry about reporting people who keep asking for sexualized shit from him in his comment section. I SAID WHAT I SAID.

I know you might have good intentions, but the moment you saw that he had to clarify it, you can tell people were doing more than just asking what was. The moment you see an actor or singer or whatever, address something as simple as a cup of water, you know the comment section was on fire, and not in a good way. That is too childish, you guys are doing the same as K-pop stans, babying your idols to the point where they can't even drink water in peace...

Last, but not least, Mew announces he is in a relationship. Now, I am part of this problem because I did say a couple of things regarding what he said. But that is for another story. My only advice is this, as long as you keep clowning, people are gonna treat you like a clown. In other words, people already have a concept of Mew and Gulf, everybody is convinced something happened, the show was over like 3 years ago and we still keep getting fan service. Yes, I know, they might have just grown to become really good and close friends, but you cannot just erase people's perspectives out of the blue. The thing is, we need to leave Mew and Gulf alone. Mew does not feel like people can be trusted, not his fans that is. Like I am happy he is in a relationship, but the fact that he cannot say who that person is, speaks volumes about how the fandom has been to both, Mew and Gulf. But you also cannot expect a grown man to be serving you with your needs just because you gave him a hit. If you are going to support him, support him in all of his ventures, not just in the MewGulf ones.

What do all of these have in common?

We need to shut the fuck up on other people's business. Why? because we do not like it when people get in our business either. Let the young be young, let them explore, let them kiss a guy, a girl, someone, let them drink, let them party, bro, let these people have relationships. Y'all living your lives, let them live theirs. While they keep us entertained with shows and music, we want to demand more and more and more, these are people, not items.

Now, tell me if this is not the real problem: the BL fandom. As time passes and passes, I have noticed that the fandom gets more and more toxic. Nobody is allowed to breathe, to look at a cast member a certain way and certainly, nobody is allowed to not do fan service. My man Bible was harassed for not wanting to do fan service, "if he ain't gon do it then why is he on it?", excuse me? did you watch KP? that was enough. So, if you are part of the toxic side of the fandom, please, leave. You are too immature. BL actors are the same as just any other genre actors.
