Enchanté tells the story of Theo who, after his grandma dies in Paris, travels back to his parents in Thailand. Here, Theo finds his old buddy, Akk, who is a funny, charismatic guy. Theo finds himself in a sketchy situation after he decides to look for Romeo, who divides himself into four.

Disclaimer: I am going to be as unbias as I can be in this review. But this is one of my favorite bls. But, keep reading because I agree with a lot of the issues.
Production: There are a lot of problems with the production of this boy's love story. For one, it is obvious that GMMTV stopped caring. There is no way they went to the cutting room and said "yes, that breathing and handling of the mic? yeah leave it there". At first, I was trying to excuse it, maybe because I have done some videos and some of that stuff makes it more natural and real, but this is not an amateur series so... Two, how can you take a concept that looks delightful and just, just-. There is no way we thought Theo was in Paris or anything, I did like that part, but it honestly was not enough. At least set it up properly, gives us some flashbacks, you know? -well, this is going to fall under the script so-. Anyway, production-wise, it could have been better, there is a lot of background noise that I am sure GMMTV -if they cared- would have filled out with some of the annoying music they like to overplay in every series. Otherwise, I like the cinematography, it reminded me of "2gether" and you guys know how I feel about that cinematography. Also, the night scenes were a delight, and that one scene in the room watching the movie, wow. There are other scenes that are a highlight for me. There is this one scene as well when Akk is taking a picture. Well, I will put it in here because, yes. Also, in episode 9 when Natee is talking to his friend and he realizes he is alone, alone now, and the shot is his drawing and then his face, I thought it was a beautiful shot. You did that director.

*a lot of flirty moments that are so well written*
Writing: I am mad. M A D. There is a lot of something and a lot of nothing. For one, Theo does not love his grandma as it is set up at the beginning, lol, he mentions her at the end -it is just a minor thing, I thought I would start this part with some clumsy shit-. Two, of my biggest worry, was that GMMTV would focus this series on the 4 guys so much that they would make up for whole episodes. Although the series got better as it progressed (yeah, you know it did), it also didn't, as in, it went well for 2 episodes and then, back to basic, and then again "Oh my god!". So there's room for improvement. A lot. For one (for the second time), if you know you are giving all this screen time and importance, to secondary characters, you need to give us more episodes. Episode 8 is the big one, and then you remember... there are only two more left so. Is there going to be a well-developed relationship? nope. "oh but they know each other already and and and..." nope. Third, why don't we get enough time to get to know both characters? because we got a series focus on 4 Romeos. We literally got more background on the Romeos than on my two Juliets (I love these two, honestly, when are we getting news that p'aoff is writing/directing a series for them?). Another thing is in episode 9, there was a "minor" issue regarding, you know, social media and the parents. I honestly would have loved to not have any of this. One, because you have only one episode left, two, because DIDN'T THEY JUST WENT THROUGH A LOT ALREADY? I MEAN, POOR AKK. So, for me, that was kinda unnecessary. Yes, I have positives sides too. For instance, this series was very romantic when it was well written. And I think most of you can agree. The flower, the details, the dreams, the helping, a lot of other things. I also enjoyed the middle of the series, say episodes 4-8 the most. Although there are a lot of good moments and most of the episodes, and if you take away the overly-written secondary characters it would be chef kisses. I like how Akk is written, I do feel like we need more background story on them, not of them together, that would be creepy and we condemn that behavior. The antagonist, if you will, is actually well-written, well, Natee. He is the only character that is more profound, everybody else got one episode and then, kinda disappear, kinda, because the series somehow managed to still be focused on them. Phupha 's storyline was too heavy, in fact, it took more of the script than what his character should have. Saifa was a good "antagonist" and he didn't even take a lot!!! Wayo, well, unnecessary and confusing. -Sorry I was talking about the good sides and then...- The cute moments, they get you, I am not one to get "shy" with cute scenes, but I was like "omg omg omg where's my pillow?". So when the writing was well done, it was WELL DONE. Anyway, that's where I am with the writing.*I apologize to the writers, I know this is a lot, but, I love Book and Force, so I hope they get a better story for the next time*. Adding this after the finale, the main issue is the unbalanced and 10-episodes. Since there are only 10 episodes, a lot if introduced and "resolved", issues that are okay if it was a 12/14 episodes series. It is not that is written badly, it is just unbalanced, because the script is nice, if it was fleshed out and well thought out on a 12 episode series.

Acting: Well, this is Force and Book first bl, and they did what needed to be done, not gonna lie. Force is a natural, he reminds me of Tay. He looks like he was playing himself, which is a good sign, you know, it did not feel awkward whenever I was looking at him. Even in the romantic scenes, this guy elevated the mood. Book, he did well too, for me he was like New, and I am sorry, but I love these 4 guys that I just mentioned. I believe Force and Book have known each other for some time, so if it is true, then, that is why it felt more natural to see them. The rest of the cast, well, only two actors felt like they kinda struggled a little, Aou and Boom. Not that it was bad, but sometimes it felt off. Other than that, the other actors did not drag me, not Oscar-worthy performances, but "I am fine with it as long as I don't get mad". Can we talk about the little sister? because she did that! this girl was the funniest, and the big sis too, like, this felt like a real family lol, it was good acting honestly.

Howdy! It's Sean. And, you know that I love to follow up your reviews. This is the first time that I really disagree with you. NOT because that it is off. But, because, I can't get past Bad Buddy. Bad Buddy for me was such a game changer. I mean, if Enchanté had come out last year as it was supposed to, I would have loved it. Or, at best, liked it more than now. Also, to follow the pather of Bad Buddy didn't help me. Enchanté had a flimsy idea for a script meant for 12/14 episodes and only gave it 10. Force and Book SAVED this series. There were many scenes that worked. But, not enough to overcom…
